About Where to Park@SG
Where to Park@SG shows how many parking lots are free at HDB carparks across Singapore, updated about every minute, so you can pick a carpark before you get there. It's free, works on any phone or computer, and can be installed like an app.
How to use it
- Map: each dot is a carpark, coloured by how many lots are free. Zoom in to see the number of free lots on each one, and tap a carpark for its details.
- List: carparks nearest to you come first if you allow location access; otherwise the ones with the most free lots. Tap a carpark to see it on the map.
- Vehicle type: the car, motorcycle and lorry icons at the top switch between car, motorcycle and heavy-vehicle lots. Motorcycle and heavy-vehicle lots are only shown for carparks that have them. The app remembers your choice.
- Your location is only used on your phone, to sort the list and centre the map. See the privacy policy.
Reading the colours
- Available 10% or more of the lots are free.
- Filling up fewer than 10% of the lots are free.
- Full no lots are free.
- No data the carpark isn't reporting live numbers right now, or hasn't for over a day.
Numbers read as "free lots of total lots", e.g. 45 of 210 lots. The List tab shows when the lot counts were last updated.
Where the data comes from
- Free lots: HDB's live carpark availability, published on data.gov.sg and checked every minute.
- Carpark locations and names: HDB's Carpark Information dataset, also on data.gov.sg, checked weekly.
- Map: OneMap by the Singapore Land Authority.
Contains information from HDB Carpark Information and Carpark Availability accessed from data.gov.sg, which is made available under the terms of the Singapore Open Data Licence version 1.0.
Lot counts come from the carparks' own systems and can lag behind or differ from what you find on arrival. Where to Park@SG is an independent project. It isn't an official app of HDB or any government agency.
Install it as an app
- Android (Chrome): open the browser menu (⋮) and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- iPhone and iPad (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Computer (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon at the end of the address bar.
Once installed, it opens full screen and still shows the last data it loaded when you're offline.
